• A clear photo of the proposed installation area.
• Whether the door will be installed in glass, a timber door, weatherboard or a brick wall with a wall liner.
• The available space around the proposed opening, including any existing cut-out measurements if applicable.
• Your pet’s breed and, where possible, chest width, body depth, belly height and shoulder height.
• Whether you prefer an underbelly flap or a standard flap.
• For glass enquiries, tell us whether you know the glass type and thickness share a photo of the panel.

The more detail you provide, the easier it is for us to help you select an appropriate flap size and installation approach.

Glass pet door projects need to be assessed before a flap is selected. If your proposed location is a sliding glass door, fixed glass panel, window or double-glazed unit, send us a photo. Toughened glass and existing double-glazed units generally cannot be cut after they have been manufactured; the installation approach may depend on the glass type and the available panel space.

Please do not arrange an opening in glass until the installation details and required flap size have been confirmed.

A suitable pet door is about usable flap space, not breed name alone. Measure your pet and compare those measurements with the flap dimensions below before choosing a size. If your pet has a broad chest, deeper body shape or a low underbelly, include those details in your enquiry so we can help you consider the available opening and flap style.

Our range includes both standard flaps with a square bottom and underbelly flaps with a rounded bottom. We also list specialist flap formats for Greyhounds, Whippets and Hungarian Vizslas. Can I order a custom pet door for a large or unusually shaped dog or cat?
We list a range of standard and underbelly flap sizes, including Greyhound, Whippet and Hungarian Vizsla formats. If your pet doesn't fit these regular sizes we can make a custom pet door for you. Send your pet’s measurements and a photo of the installation area so we can help you consider a suitable option.

I want to replace my old pet door which is existing. Can you fit my existing cut-out?
Typically yes, please email us a photo and the dimensions. The cut-out dimensions, and flap dimensions.

I can't find a pet door solution for my installation area.
We may be able to help you with custom made solutions, like specific wall liner sizing, additional covers, reverse mount pet doors for glass. Contact our office to discuss.

Can the Security Lock Cover pet door be installed in glass?
The Security Lock Cover package includes full spacers for glass installation. Glass projects should be assessed before ordering, so please send a photo and the panel details you know. This pet door requires clearance considerations.

Can I install the Security Lock Cover  in a wall?
The package is listed for weatherboard and brick walls when used with our wall liner. This pet door requires clearance considerations.
