Which garage door do you have?
Garage-door pet-door enquiries are assessed by door type and available clearance. Please tell us whether your garage door is a roller/Roll-A-Door, sectional or panel-lift door, tilt door, or another style.
- Roller doors: Do not assume a standard rigid pet door can be fitted into the moving curtain. We will review the door arrangement and discuss suitable custom or alternative options for your property.
- Sectional or panel-lift doors: The proposed location needs to be considered in relation to panels, hinges, tracks and normal door movement.
- Tilt doors: The opening location must be considered against the door’s swing path and structure.

Important note for roller garage doors
Roller garage doors move and coil as they open. For this reason, a standard rigid pet door should not be assumed suitable for fitting into the moving roller curtain. Please contact Pet Doors Australia before making any alteration to a roller door. Depending on the door arrangement and your access needs, we can discuss a custom approach or whether a nearby wall, side access door or security door may be a more suitable location for your pet door.
